T-10 Film Review

The show at 21 grand was excellent. I went on Saturday the 6th, and there was a full house. The price was right, and the beers were cold. Some of the videos needed some more editing, but since they were only ten minutes long, it was never too bad.

John Paul Olsen's tour de force will be remembered as the begining of a long career in the video arts. Perhaps you are a sound person, cuz he could use your help. You can see more of his work at the Vulcan 5 website.

I just wanted to get the word out, and need to look at my notes for more info.

Great Show!!

So it has been a while since my last post. I did get two cups into the Juried show, and that is a blind jury!! Insert own joke here. We ended up having an international show, thanks to Canada. 13 people, and about 35 cups were on display in old number five. we will even have an online gallery soon.
The reception turned out great, we had about 70 people show up. Just enough to make the space seem full, without too much danger to the cups. We even had some sales, and hope to have some more. We are keeping the gallery hours of an ephemeral gallery, and hope to sell some of my back supply.

Check out www.vulcan5.org for the latest info.

Peace, soon as possible

Send in the Uke

At this months Murmur, I was surprised to see more than one Uke player. The Number of violin players was closer to 10. Multiple accordian players, and that was not even at the 21 grand venue. Which, as predicted was open this month. Had the stage up, and even had some good art on the wall.

My fav this time, was the superheroes dioramas. Very Neopomo. I need to work on the neopomo manifesto.
Anyway, lots of good work, and the energy is still building, even with burning man, and a confusing article in the east bay ex. I thought it muddled, and confusing to the reader who had not been to the murmur, and even more confusing to one who has.

Sabars gallery is still the place to go, if you want the work that will stand the test of time. It still retains some edgy flavors tho.

Peace, now please.

Come see me at the Murmur!!

I will be standing around, looking bored at one of the venues. I hear that someone is doing a thing next month at 21 grand, so maybe they will be open this month.

I am doing some Intangio work starting tommorow, so perhaps I will become a printmaker, and not a potter.,;;

Just kidding.
